PRESS RELEASE – Lume and KEMP Technologies® announced their partnership to advance the adoption of cloud-enabled enterprise applications. This partnership combines Lume’s suite of advanced and comprehensive cloud solutions with KEMP’s innovative Metered application delivery fabric.

Today’s Enterprises have requirements to deliver applications and services that meet customer service level agreements. Technology departments responsible for this face significant challenges due to the increased changes they must manage to meet business demands, and the fact that digital transformation initiatives often require deploying and managing applications in new ways and environments.

Since 2005, Lume has helped customers meet these challenges by evolving from a boots-on-the-ground MSP to a managed cloud services provider with a global footprint of edge data center locations and a comprehensive portfolio of managed cloud and data center solutions. To accomplish this, having the right technology in place that allows for on-demand elasticity and scale is critical. KEMP’s Metered Application Delivery Fabric serves as a key part of Lume’s Cloud Anyware™ solutions by providing consumption-based cloud licensing for load balancing and application delivery services across private and public cloud platforms. The KEMP 360 Central control plane provides management, portability and orchestration capabilities along with monitoring for 3rd party load balancing services such as F5, NGiNX and AWS ELB. This means that a single pane of glass can be delivered even when a multi-vendor solution is required.

“We are very excited about our partnership with KEMP”, said Brooks Snow, CTO, Lume. “Their elastic metered licensing model is a game changer.  We know how critical the ‘edge’ is and how important location is when designing solutions.  That’s why we developed Cloud Anyware™ – to give our clients the ability to choose the infrastructure and the locations they need to meet their requirements.  It’s a huge part of Lume’s DNA and KEMP plays an integral part in that”, said Snow.

“The partnership between KEMP and Lume was a natural fit”, said Jason Dover, Director of Product Line Management, “We are both laser focused on helping customers leverage cloud solutions to build, manage and scale applications. Our Metered Application Delivery Fabric is an offering that CSPs can leverage to expand their service offerings in a scalable and economical way, while allowing them to meet the elasticity needs of their customers. We’re excited to be working with Lume to deliver enhanced value to our joint customers.”
