Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
(well, sort of).
Atlanta, GA. – Adding to an already impressive footprint, Lume, a global provider of cloud and data center services, announced today the addition of a new data center location in the Northern Virginia area. This newest data center is located in Reston, Virginia approximately 20 miles northwest of Washington DC.
The addition of this facility and location allows Lume to provide a scalable and reliable option for customers looking to expand operations and reduce costs. This facility also provides direct, low-latency access to and from Ashburn and Washington D.C.
“We’re thrilled about the expansion. Adding the Washington DC location to our footprint means we can now offer our existing and future clients additional locations to host and manage their cloud environments” said Clay Wood, Chief Information Officer for Lume. “We have clients worldwide. This additional location makes our global network and data center footprint even stronger and helps strategically position Lume to better serve the market” added Wood.
Lume currently operates data centers in Atlanta, Salt Lake City and two locations in the UK.
The Northern Virginia facility is the first of several new locations Lume plans to add to its footprint over the next few months.
